Short Breaks

Some children in Bristol are entitled to apply for a Short Break. This is a supported respite service, available for a variety of time periods. A Short Break promotes independence for the child and gives them the opportunity to try new activities and make new friends. It also allows the child’s family to take some time for themselves, away from their usual daily routine.

Not every child is eligible for a Short Break.
